Fortnite is a third-person shooter video game developed and released by Epic Games in 2017. Fortnite has 3 modes, but it is Battle Royale that won recognition for the game.
Unlike PUBG, Fortnite can boast cartoonish graphics, which is great for some people and, at the same time, a target for criticism for others. We believe this peculiarity is among the factors that contributed to the success of the game. When playing Fortnite, you literally dive into this three-dimensional world, experiencing everything by yourself. Bear in mind, though, that if you play at high resolution, FPS will significantly drop.
This section of Fortnite Battle Royale review will hopefully shed some light on what you have to do in the game.
When starting to play Fortnite, you may have difficulty understanding what you are supposed to do, and it will take a while before you feel comfortable and become a competitive player. Over time, you’ll learn how to plan strategies, build forts quickly and efficiently, and handle weapons. After all, it takes a lot of practice; you can’t expect to instantly gain the upper hand over other more experienced users.
After jumping out of the Battle Bus (at the beginning, there are around 100 players), a player heads to a certain location on the map, preferably more quickly than opponents so as not to get killed. Having landed, you have only a pickaxe, with the help of which you collect resources for building, notably wood, stone, and metal. The opportunity to build is one of the coolest features of the game. You can put up a couple of walls to temporarily block your opponents’ bullets or soaring forts to outperform them in the long run. Indeed, if you are good at building, it’s already half the battle or maybe more.
You can download Fortnite on PC and Mac, a range of iOS and Android devices, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch. To play the game on PC, you need an Epic Games account. When it comes to iOS and Android devices, you can install it directly from the App Store and Google Play accordingly.
