Highly Promising 2020 PS5 Games Ranked

The PS5 console has been tempting us with new releases this year, having prepared a whole array of fresh games. While PS5 is competing against Xbox, the former has some aces up the sleeves. So, what new PS5 games do we expect from Sony?

No. 10: The Lord of The Rings: Gollum

Announced as a prequel game to The Lord of The Rings series, Gollum centers around the events that had led the dire creature to its unfortunate fate. It’s time to learn about Gollum’s side of the all-beloved story.

No. 9: Resident Evil Village

As the ending series game, Resident Evil is a promising piece of work. The developers claim it will combine the best from its predecessors to morph into a completely new product with the same all-favorite settings. Who knows what they have prepared for us, but it’s going to be grand.

No. 8: Battlefield VI

Though the game is estimated to be released sometime in 2021, it’s worth mentioning. As a continuation of the series, Battlefield VI is said to have ultra-realistic graphics and even a better action-based plot for shooter fans.

No. 7: Control

The game has been brought to PS5 to disclose its full potential as a ray-tracing technology product. When combined with supernatural abilities, shooting, and levitation, the visuals must be simply stunning.

No. 6: Gran Turismo 7

Gamers who enjoy a good racing game know that PS5’s Gran Turismo is not a game but an experience. Supported by VR and providing impressive controls, the product opens up a world of races and feuds that spiral down within a matter of a match.

No. 5: Demon’s Souls Remake

Isn’t Dark Souls hardcore enough with invincible bosses and a stick to defeat an army of the undead? Well, now the developers have announced Demon’s Souls production as a prequel to the original series.

No. 4: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

The Spider-Man series has always been a great success, and Marvel isn’t stopping on its previous achievements. The new episode doesn’t imply a sequel but instead broadens the already-existing universe of the superhero.

No.3: Ratchet And Clank: Rift Apart

Among the best PS5 games, Ratchet and Clank is a shooter-based game that follows Ratchet and his loyal robot Clank while they explore planets and dimensions. This episode has to be even fuller with the developers’ intention to combine the content of the previous games and dimension-travel.

No. 2: Horizon Forbidden West

Horizon is a big gun compared to other games for PS5, as it brings about a whole new post-apocalyptic world. Expanding the settings of its predecessor, Forbidden West should tell us more about the degraded civilization of the future.

No. 1: Cyberpunk 2077

Much as it’s only a project, no one can deny the excitement the gaming community gets when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077. The game is almost here to start a new generation of RPGs in the not-so-far distant future, where everything is run by machines, but there is still nothing more dangerous than a human.

It’s a New Era, Guys

Though we have some promising news, there are too many gaps in Sony’s agenda. Will the PS5 play PS4 games? Will it support 8K? Nonetheless, buckle up, for we’re going to have a fun ride!
